Size Guide

 

All information is based on an 'average' size Little Lady. If your Little Lady is in a lower of higher percentile, please adapt the below to suit.

 

Swimwear

Sizes 6-24 Months:

Customers say they run 'True To Size' on average percentile babies or a 'Little Snug' for the upper percentile babies (i.e. 80%+).

As such, we advise sizing up 4 weeks before your child's next birthday if they're of an average percentile and for upper percentile, size up 8 weeks before your child's next birthday (with the understanding the product may be loose at first, but gives them room to grow).

For example:

If your baby is 17 months and of an average percentile, take the size 18-24 Months.

If your baby is 16 months and of an upper percentile, take the size 18-24 Months.  

 

Sizes 2-6 Years:

Customers say they run 'True To Size' and for average percentile children, they would size up 16 weeks before their child's next birthday and for upper percentile (80%+) they would size up 16-24 weeks before their child's next birthday (with the understanding that the swimwear will be looser fitting at first, but gives them room to grow).

For example:

If your child is of an average percentile and over 3 years and 8 months, take the size 4-5 years.

If your child is of an upper percentile and over 3 years and 6 months, take the size 4-5 years.

 

Sizes 7-10 Years:

Customers say they run 'Slightly Oversized' and would size up only '4-8 weeks' after their birthday.

For example, if your child is over 8 years and 1 month, take the size 8-9 years.

Please note; this will fit looser at first but will provide more longevity (the 7-8 Years size would still fit well, but may only provide 2-4 months of wear vs 8-12 months in the larger size)

 

Sun Hats

Our Petal Sun Hat is available in One Size which fits a head circumference 51-54cm (using an adjustable strap). Our Customers tell us that this fits well on ages 12 months to 5 years.
